New Player Development Manager joins the NPA ahead of the 2027 season

We’re delighted to welcome Sarah Collin to the Netball Players Association as our new Player Development Manager in the South West covering Team Bath, LexisNexis Dragons and Birmingham Panthers.

Sarah joins the NPA with extensive experience in athlete personal development, welfare and performance environments. In her current role at the University of Bath, she leads athlete personal development and lifestyle support across one of the UK’s largest Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme delivery sites, working with a diverse group of performance athletes and practitioners. Her experience also includes supporting players across the netball pathway and Super League.

A former international modern pentathlete, with management experience in performance environments, Sarah brings first-hand insight into the demands of elite sport. She has particular expertise in building positive, high-performing team cultures, as well as tailored individual dual-career and wellbeing support.

Sarah will play an important role in expanding the NPA’s personal development programme, The Next Quarter, providing enhanced individual contact time and tailored support for NSL and NXT Gen  netball players.

NPA CEO Liz Bloor said: “As we expand the delivery of The Next Quarter, we are really pleased to welcome Sarah to our Player Development Manager team. Her proximity to the clubs will provide even more individual contact time and bring her expertise to the athletes we support.

Sarah added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the NPA at such an exciting time for the sport. Netball players are in a really unique position in a rapidly changing landscape for women's sport. I'm looking forward to helping them make the most out of the opportunities presented them, both on and off court. But mostly making sure they feel supported, understood and empowered to achieve their potential."
